Attunement + Rites + Integration

A collective of devoted guides imparting ancient wisdom and cultivating spiritual and somatic alignment with the natural world.

We are imparting the wisdom of the sages and Indigenous elders to seekers devoted to a path of attunement and self-actualization. We focus on these eight fields of alignment.

We offer guidance, workshops, and experience from our collective. Each Guide is trained in the Passage philosophy and devoted to their path as both a student and a guide.

  1. Spiritual Attunement

  2. Rites of Passage

  3. Indigenous Wisdom

  4. Planetary Stewardship

  5. Wisdom Integration

  6. Plant Medicine

  7. Energy Healing

Founder & Guide

Jared Angaza

Strategist + Activist + Guide

My role as your guide is to help you attune to Indigenous wisdom and the rhythms of the natural world. I’ll also work with our collective of Guides to ensure you have all the support you need for your journey.

I feel privileged to have had all of the experiences I’ve had in my life. The wisdom and flow I have gained from my time with Indigenous communities, often covered in the mud of the jungle, has changed me forever.

It’s inspired and equipped me to be the father, leader, activist, and guide I want to be in the world. It is my kuleana to pay it forward.

I’d love to guide you into a deeper, more attuned, symbiotic way of being.

I invite you to explore my About Page for more details on my journey and personal mission.

I don’t take many photos, but here are a few of me serving hapé at a private gathering in Austin, TX.
(Thanks for the photos, Chaser.)

  • I started working with the American Indian Movement (AIM) when I was 18. Throughout my 20s I extended my efforts to more Indigenous communities throughout the world. I lived in Rwanda for 5 years, and in Kenya for 5 years. I participated in the Moran (a warrior outside the tribe) ceremony with Maasai warriors. I studied land stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and intentional community in Costa Rica for two years.

I've spent two decades studying the sages, mystics, wisdom keepers, and Indigenous wisdom. While I have studied many Indigenous communities and mystics, my focus has been on the perspective and ways of the Lakota, Toltec, Hawaiian, and Samurai societies, and the ways of the Tao and Zen Buddhism.

Through my role as the Chief Strategist at Kaiāulu, I connect weekly with the elders in Hawaii, Colombia, Vancouver Island, Mexico, New Zealand, and beyond.

For the past four years, I've co-hosted the Kaiāulu Council of Wisdom Keepers and Indigenous Elders. We host a monthly Synchronized Indigenous Ceremonies gathering on Zoom where over 400 elders are represented.

I've dedicated my life to learning and practicing the wisdom and ways of Indigenous elders and Wisdom Keepers. I believe their cultures and ways can help the world come back into harmony with each other and the natural world.

Through my experiences and relationships, I am honored to be able to Design & Facilitate Excursions for individuals and groups that desire to learn Indigenous ways and have an authentic experience.

It's a serious privilege to visit these sacred spaces and meet with the elders. I'm happy to pay it forward to those who are devoted to living as stewards of the Earth, in harmony with the natural world. This is part of my contribution to carrying forward the wisdom traditions of our Indigenous ancestors.

Indigenous Roots Journeys

Yawanawa tribe of the Brazilian Amazon

Do you have a mastermind alliance, a group of adventurers, a group focused on self-actualization, or attunement with nature and Indigenous ways?

I would love to help you provide an absolutely life-changing experience for your group of seekers.

Here is a list of some of the foundational elements I help facilitate.

  • Stay in authentic, native locations and venues

  • Meet and talk with the tribal elders.

  • Learn traditional medicine, philosophy, shelter, culture, and ways.

  • Visit sacred sites and participate in celebrations and ceremonies.

  • Participate in physical challenges designed to bolster courage and resilience.

  • Learn from wisdom keepers and sages.

  • Design your own Agreements and Way for your ongoing journey.

  • Engage with a community of fellow seekers.

Experiences

In terms of the intensity of the experience, I can provide introductory, mid-level and advanced journeys, depending on your needs.

These journeys are available to groups of 6 - 18 people at a time, with some exceptions.

I have a baseline framework for each excursion. Otherwise, we will work together to determine the best path in terms of design, management, roles, and responsibilities.

How it Works

I am privileged to work with a host of Indigenous Elders, Wisdom Keepers, Sages, Guides, and Healers.

For each experience, I create a team that is best suited for your specific needs.

The Team

I have connections in many Indigenous communities, sacred sites, and extraordinary environments around the world. Let me know what you’re looking for. Otherwise, these are the three locations where I have deeper roots.

Locations

  • Kauai, Hawaii

  • Denver, Colorado

  • Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia

These programs can be added on to your excursion if your group qualifies for this type of experience.

  • Ceremonial Rites of Passage

    • no plant medicine

  • Ceremonial Rites of Passage

    • with plant medicine

All plant medicine ceremonies are conducted by Indigenous elders, legally according to the laws regarding Indigenous ceremonies.

Way of the Shapeshifter

A RITES OF PASSAGE

& INTEGRATION COMMUNITY

Cultivate a sustained experience of aliveness, freedom, and meaning.

The mystics, sages, and valiant warriors of our past shared a common path.

They were grounded in rites of passage, initiations, and community that nurtured them into adulthood and mastery.

Rites of passage upheld the wisdom traditions of our indigenous ancestors while also inspiring those who would carry the torch next to live with even clearer vision.

From adolescence, they were intentionally programmed with unshakable faith, courage, confidence, clarity, and a deep sense of interconnectedness and purpose

Through rites of passage, integration training, and a devoted tribe, we journey into true brotherhood and the path of the shapeshifter.

This program is for devoted seekers and modern elders committed to an ongoing, ever-evolving self-actualization journey.

I invite you to explore the full details of the Shapeshifter Training program in the deck (PDF) above.

I invite you fill out this quick questionnaire so we can set up a time to discuss Shapeshifter Training.
